Overseas National Airlines (ONA) was essentially a charter air carrier. It started in 1950 and it ceased operations on September 14, 1978. Among their former stewardesses was, Arnelle Meyer, now Author and Blogger who is writing about her experiences including two crashes, one major crash in a DC-10 at JFK.
I’m excited to have been chosen to design her book cover, but in the meantime we’re doing other stuff. This includes a postcard, T-Shirt design and Mouse Pads. All going to former employees and fans of this classic airline.
First, I had to recreate the ONA logo with illustrator. There was no other way around it. Luckily, i found a matching font that closely resembled theirs, that saved a ton of work and time.
